A high-performance, sustainable solution at the heart of a remodeling project

Context & Challenge

As part of the remodeling of a large hypermarket in Normandy, the operator required a modern and sustainable refrigeration system that would ensure both energy efficiency and long-term reliability, while also adapting to the technical constraints of the site.

The project aimed to achieve two key goals:

• Reduce energy consumption through advanced CO₂ technology and optimized commissioning.

The Friga-Bohn Solution

In close partnership with CAEN FROID, Friga-Bohn designed and commissioned a transcritical CO₂LD central system. The collaborative approach between both teams during commissioning allowed fine-tuning of the installation to guarantee lasting energy savings for the operator.

• Commercial evaporators with low ΔT: improving refrigeration efficiency.
  
  
• Precisely dimensioned gas cooler: matched to the system’s performance requirements.
